Statistics and audience measurement: MATOMO

In order to measure the audience of the cyberworldcleanupday.fr website, the open-source tool MATOMO is installed on this server.

One of the founding principles of Matomo is to respect privacy. By its conception, Matomo Analytics in self-hosted mode is respectful of privacy. This means that all data collected is stored only in our own MySQL database, no other company (or Matomo team member) can access this information, and logs or report data will never be sent to other servers by Matomo.

The software source code is open-source, so hundreds of people have reviewed it to ensure it is secure and keeps the data confidential.
